Grief can be difficult to put into words. Especially for young people. That’s why Haven Hospice offers free grief workshops designed specifically for children and teens who have experienced a loss. Through art, music, movement, and conversation, these gatherings give young people a safe, supportive space to process their feelings, share their stories, and connect with others who understand what they’re going through. No artistic experience is ever required.
Our workshops are led by trained facilitators, art therapists, and community partners who specialize in working with grieving youth. We welcome children and teens of all backgrounds, and we tailor each event to meet young people where they are. From painting and sneaker design to music and movement, every workshop offers a different creative doorway into healing. All events are free of charge, made possible through the generous support of the Haven Foundation.
